SINGAPORE – 7 May 2014 – The BCA Centre for Sustainable Buildings (BCA CSB) and the Global Buildings Performance Network (GBPN) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reinforcing their commitment towards deep energy savings and reductions of carbon dioxide emissions from buildings. The MOU will define the framework for partnership projects to identify, validate and share policy and technology best-practices for minimising the energy demand of buildings in hot and humid climates.
SINGAPORE – 9 September, 2013 – The BCA Centre for Sustainable Buildings (BCA CSB) today announced a new partnership project with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), “The Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action (NAMA) Development for the Building Sector in Asia”, sealing their commitment to assist developing countries in the region to combat climate change.
(14 October- Paris/Singapore) The Building and Construction Authority of Singapore (BCA) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) have joined forces in the fight against climate change. The two organisations finalised an agreement to collaborate on work to promote and establish sustainable building policies and practices in the Southeast Asia region. On 14 September, at the International Green Building Conference 2011, held during Singapore Green Building Week, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed, formalising cooperation between BCA and UNEP to provide policy advice and outreach activities related to sustainable resource management in the building sector.
